DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce and nearly 1\,000 professionals for the largest convening of business and industry leaders in Durham - the 2019 Annual Meeting. \n\n\n\nThe 113th Annual Meeting features accomplishments of the Chamber during the previous year\, presentation of the Civic Honor Award\, presentation of the Bull City Hall of Fame Award\, Keynote\, and the passing of the gavel from the outgoing chair to incoming chair. \n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker\n\nThis year's keynote will be delivered by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. \n\n\n\nAnnual Civic Honor Award\n\nThis longstanding tradition celebrates individuals who\, through immense dedication and personal resolve\, have made significant contributions to strengthening our community.  We celebrate them both to give deserved recognition and to inspire others to follow in their footsteps. This award will be presented to the Honorable Mickey Michaux by ABC-11. \n\n\n\nBull City Hall of Fame Award\n\nThis award recognizes an individual for their outstanding work that transcends Durham boundaries and has far reaching global implications. This award will be presented to the late Phail Wynn\, Jr.  by Duke University President Vincent E.
