You will learn how to develop brand strategies that are legally empowered and sustainable\, and understand how to minimize the cost of legal protection through heightened awareness of the legal foundations of trademark protection.  \n\n	\n\n	Presented by Vedia Jones-Richardson\n\n	Olive & Olive\n\n	\n\n	Vedia Jones-Richardson is a Principal with Olive and Olive\, PA\, an intellectual property firm in Durham\, where she leads the trademark/copyright practice group.  She also is a member of the adjunct faculty at North Carolina Central University School of Law\, where she supervises the Trademark Legal Clinic.\n\n	 \n\n	Counseling clients in the protection\, acquisition and management of intellectual property rights\, her practice includes trademark\, copyright\, computer technology\, marketing and promotions\, entertainment and arts law.  With a degree in graphic design\, several years of experience in the television and advertising industries\, and nearly three decades of legal experience in private practice and in-house counsel\, she brings a business orientation and creative perspective to her practice.
