With the YMCA's  presence in the Durham community\, Forrest is directly responsible for providing oversight and support to all aspects of the Durham YMCAs\, including member retention\, facility management\, staff development\, program quality\, fundraising\, and board development.  Forrest is a dynamic leader whose work with the YMCA focuses on Youth Development\, Healthy Living\, and Social Responsibility. \n\n\n\n\nForrest and his wife Rebekah live in Durham and are the proud new parents of one son\, born just this past October.  In his spare time\, Forrest enjoys traveling and spending time in the outdoors.\n\n\n\nMichael Hining\n\n\n\n\nMr. Hining has over thirty-five years of diversified architectural experience including healthcare projects\, educational facilities\, worship facilities and commercial buildings. He has worked with a variety of architectural and engineering firms\, acquiring skills that balance technical and aesthetic values with economic realities. He is often called upon to be a consultant to large healthcare and educational facilities\, based on his experience and expertise in site planning\, facility assessment\, and master planning. Mr. Hining founded MHAworks in 1988 and has built the firm with "service excellence" as its foundation. This philosophy has served the firm well\, with 80% of its design business from repeat clientele.
