DESCRIPTION:The City of Durham Equity and Inclusion Department is offering an informational session on its Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) Program to seek new participants. This program is open to construction general contractors\, construction trade firms\, architects\, engineers\, and surveyors whose businesses are located in Durham\, Orange\, Person\, and Chatham counties.\n\n \n\nThe SLBE Program has no out-of-pocket cost\, only potential City business opportunities for participating businesses as the program aims to increase employment for residents and to enhance the tax base. \n\n \n\nThis virtual seminar will cover the creation of the program\, benefits\, and eligibility requirements. For attendees who may be involved in the SLBE Program\, time will also be provided to share feedback on how the program may be enhanced.\n\n \n\nPre-registration for this free event is required.
