DESCRIPTION:The Durham Chamber is proud to partner with the Morrisville Chamber on this event.\n\n\n\nHow To Be An Ally\n\nIn this panel discussion\, moderated by Susie Silver with The Diversity Movement\, audience members will have the opportunity to explore local organizations through panelists who will speak to the importance of diversity\, equity and inclusion and what each audience member can do to be an everyday ally. From this event\, audience members can expect to take a personal journey through their own DEI journey and learn a new way to be an ally that will easily fit into their everyday life both personally and professionally. \n\n\n\nOrganizations and institutions across the country are quickly realizing that diversity cannot be the end goal. Instead\, we must develop safe\, open\, and inclusive environments for all to collaborate and co-exist. Through this event\, you'll hear ways of how to foster honest and robust conversations surrounding multiple generations within a workforce and tips on how to be more generationally sensitive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
