DESCRIPTION:The Durham Chamber is going on a Road Trip to Rocky Mount...and we want you to come along!\n\n\n\nPresented in partnership with Capitol Broadcasting Company\, (the company who first envisioned the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham)\, the historic Rocky Mount Mills is home to Class A office space\, residences\, restaurants and a brewery incubator. Rocky Mount Mills is an exciting example of the re-purposing and renewal of an historic North Carolina industrial space into a 21st century destination. We also will see the new River and Twine\, the new tiny-house hotel opening this summer! \n\n\n\nWe will also hear from Rocky Mount Mayor David Combs\, Rocky Mount Chamber President and CEO David Farris\, and Carolinas Gateway Partnership President and CEO Norris Tolson.\n\n\n\nTransportation will be provided. There will be two meeting spaces: downtown Durham and the parking lot at Streets of Southpoint. (Exact pick-up locations will be emailed in advance.)\n\n\n\nLunch and beer tasting included too! We suggest wearing comfortable shoes for the walking tour.\n\n\n\nSpace is limited\, so register today!
