DESCRIPTION:Due to recent weather challenges\, the January Transportation Committee Meeting was rescheduled for March 19th.  The topic is the Durham Parking Study done of downtown Durham\, Ninth Street\, and surrounding entertainment centers.  Fred Burchett from Kimley Horn will be presenting the results.\n\n\n\nFred Burchett has been with Kimley-Horn for 26 years and has 35 years of engineering experience. During his tenure in local government\, his duties included the management and operation of advanced traffic management systems and of  on- and off-street parking operations. He has recently completed parking studies for the Cities of Durham\, Asheville and Greensboro in North Carolina\, North Myrtle Beach\, SC\, Sandy Springs\, GA and for a number of National Wildlife Refuges for United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the Federal Highway Administration - Eastern Federal Lands Division.
