This will be a Cliff Notes version of Marketing and Media 101. You’ll learn the difference between brand and product, positioning statement and tagline, how to communicate your best attributes, and what it takes to make these meaningful to your current and potential customers. We’ll cover the when and where of advertising, and the steps to get you there. We’ll discuss the “media toolbox,” and how to best make use of its contents. You’ll have a better understanding of how to measure your marketing ROI. And finally, you’ll be on track to develop an action plan to move your business forward.

Elliot cut his teeth on the mean advertising streets of New York. He worked on major brands and big budgets at FCB/Leber Katz Partners, Chiat Day, Lever Brothers and CBS. Then, he got smart and moved south, where he doesn't have to face the hazards of the city. As a resident Durhamite, Elliot has worked for The Village Companies (WZZU, The Village Advocate, Tar Heel Sports Marketing) and World Theatre. In 2001, he founded AdForce, inc. where he can treat a client's budget like his own money (he's very thrifty, by the way). His plans simultaneously focus on short and long-term goals. And nothing makes him happier professionally than a client’s success.
