Join the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce for Connect. Grow. Lead. SERVE!, an opportunity designed to bring Chamber members together outside of the traditional networking environment to build relationships, develop as leaders, and make a meaningful difference in our community.

For this Connect. Grow. Lead. SERVE! experience, we’re heading into the warehouse at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina’s Durham Branch to roll up our sleeves and help provide food and resources to families, children, and seniors across our community.

This is your chance to network with fellow Chamber members while serving alongside them. You’ll meet new people, strengthen existing relationships, and see firsthand the impact we can make when the business community comes together to serve.

What We’ll Be Doing

Volunteers may participate in a variety of hands-on projects, including:

• Sorting produce and creating family-sized bags

• Cleaning and bagging Capri Sun

• Building CSFP boxes for senior citizens

• Packing meal kits for children

• Sorting and inspecting food drive donations from individuals and corporations

• Assisting with other projects based on current donations and needs

No special experience is required, just a willingness to show up, serve, and make a difference!
