DESCRIPTION:Join us every 3rd Tuesday for Biz Talk @ Pour. Each month will feature a 15 minute talk from a Durham business owner entrepreneur highlighting the journey they have taken to get to the point where they're at. Come be inspired\, network with other entrepreneurs\, and drink some good beer.\n\n\n\nThis month\, we will be joined by Cicely Mitchell\, Co-Founder of The Art of Cool Project. Dr. Mitchell may be known as a trailblazer for women of color in the field of biostatistics\, but her contribution to the local community also extends into art and music.\n\n\n\nMitchell is the global head of biostatistics - the study of math and data as it relates to biology and living organisms - at research firm Pharm-Olam in Research Triangle Park\, but she is also a strong leader in the effort to revive and grow jazz in Durham as founder of the Art of Cool Fest.  \n\n\n\nHosted at Pour Taproom\, in collaboration with the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Durham\, Inc.
