Trust is not a “soft skill.” It is a hard business reality, and a requirement for organizations and individuals that need to forge meaningful relationships with their colleagues, constituents and communities. Trust is more than building transparency and embracing “corporate social responsibility.” It is the new mandate for doing business.
“The ability to establish, grow, extend, and restore trust with all stakeholders—customers, suppliers, investors and employees—is the critical leadership competency in the new global economy.”
-Stephen M. R. Covey,
The Speed of Trust
In this presentation based on the book The Speed of Trust by Stephen M. R. Covey, participants will:
Identify the competitive advantage that trust offers organizations and individuals
About the Leader:
Dan Gregory, owner of Always Best Care Senior Services, uses these basic principles every day with clients, referral sources and colleagues. Mr. Gregory has been an entrepreneur since leaving the telecom industry in 1999. He co-founded one of the leading experiential learning companies, Blueline Simulations, where socratic dialog combined with traditional gaming elements created powerful learning experiences for organizations navigating change.
Dan sold his interest in the simulation company and, with his wife Stephanie, began developing ways to support seniors and their families. The primary motivation being based on Stephanie’s grandmother’s struggle with dementia and the sacrifices her mother made to become the primary caregiver.
