Local, State and Federal Government Committee Meeting - May 5, 2011
The speaker for this month’s Local, State and Federal Government Committee meeting isJ. Keith Crisco, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Commerce. Secretary Crisco’s visit comes as a follow up to our May conversation with North Carolina State Treasurer Janet Cowell. The Secretary will provide committee members with a snapshot of how the State is faring in terms of economic development, jobs and industry clusters. More specifically, he’ll speak to how Durham and the Triangle region are performing as well as providing his thoughts on decisions on the table within the State Legislature.
