Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center is a place where superheroes find their superheroes. Every year thousands of children are treated at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center for a wide range of medical conditions, from common childhood illnesses to life-threatening diseases. Our staff of outstanding physicians and surgeons--many of whom are leaders in their respective fields--and our other healthcare professionals, as well as our support staff, bring a deep sense of dedication to delivering healing and hope to each and every one of our patients.
This year’s Teddy Bear Ball will celebrate all of the superheroes at Duke Children’s, including our young patients and their families and those who care for them, those who make discoveries that change children’s lives, those who help expand our healing reach, and those who educate the next generation of top pediatric physicians and nurses. Hosted by Duke Medicine leadership, this spectacular evening will feature an exciting new format and show with celebrity hosts Jeff and Gregg Foxworthy, Broadway music composer David Friedman, and friends of Duke Children’s.
The Teddy Bear Ball is an evening of celebration to raise essential funds to benefit the pediatric programs at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center. Taking place the first Saturday of December, the annual charity black-tie gala provides sponsors, donors and guests with the opportunity to don their finest apparel and enjoy fine food and company, all in the name of helping sick children.
