Join the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, elected officials, and industry leaders for the 2021 Leadership Forum and Holiday Reception on Wednesday, December 15, 2021!

You have a choice this year of how you would like to join us for this event:

1. In-person at the Washington Duke Inn
2. Or virtually over Zoom by stopping by Washington Duke Inn from 2:00-3:00 p.m. to pick up a Holiday Tower of goodies and wine
3. Just joining online virtually from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (no food pickup)

Virtual Option:
Swing by the Washington Duke Inn between 2:00-3:00 p.m. on December 15 and pick up a holiday tower of treats and wine! Once home, enjoy your goodies and join us virtually on Zoom at 4:00 p.m. for the program. 
 
We are excited to bring you a new Leadership Forum and announce our keynote speaker, North Carolina Secretary of Commerce Machelle Baker Sanders. In February 2021, Governor Cooper appointed Secretary Machelle Baker Sanders to lead the North Carolina Department of Commerce, enlisting her experience as former Administration Secretary, strong background as a business leader and her extensive knowledge of what it takes to build a globally competitive workforce. Secretary Sanders’ vision for North Carolina’s post-pandemic economic restoration is to work with partners to attract better paying jobs, support small businesses, and stimulate our state’s innovation and entrepreneurial economy. Her bold and purposeful leadership aims to ensure North Carolina’s diverse state is an inclusive one that works for all people.

The 2021 Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award will also be presented to a deserving individual for their outstanding contribution to Durham. After the forum, please stay for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and celebrate the season at the Holiday Reception!

The deadline to register for the Virtual option WITH FOOD pickup is Friday, December 10 at 12:00 p.m.

**In accordance with CDC and local guidance, masks will be required when not eating or drinking, and the outdoor terrace will be available for the reception. You should switch from in-person to virtual attendance if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or any other illness. In addition, all in-person attendees should have a valid vaccination card (digital copy/photo is OK) or negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours.**
