Inter-City Visit - 2025

Having held informative visits to Indianapolis in September 2023 and Minneapolis-St. Paul in September 2024, the Durham Chamber will lead an effort to visit Austin to learn from peers from Tuesday, November 11 to Friday, November 14!

What: Durham Inter-City Visit 2025
When: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 to Friday, November 14, 2025
Where: Austin, TX
Who: We have expanded capacity to lead up to 100 business, government, nonprofit, and education sectors leaders from Durham and the Triangle community at large
Why: To learn from the experiences of another similar-sized community, better understand our own community assets, and build relationships among each other to help us address our local challenges
Objectives: The Inter-City Visit will continue focus on the following learning objectives and more:

Strengthening Economic, Workforce Development, and Education Strategies
Investing in Transportation and Infrastructure
Supporting Housing and Small Business Growth
