Dr. Howard is the Executive Director of Kidznotes, an evidence-based, El Sistema-inspired organization that transforms lives through music education and fosters social change. A retired school administrator and former NYC nonprofit executive, he brings decades of experience in education and community leadership. Under his guidance, Kidznotes has enhanced its curriculum, expanded enrollment to over 120 students annually, and implemented data-driven strategies to measure its impact on student growth and social-emotional development.
Through strategic planning, Dr. Howard has positioned Kidznotes for sustainable growth and forged numerous partnerships that enrich student learning and expand resources. His leadership empowers underserved youth to thrive through music, creating lasting pathways to success. Driven by his passion for equity and opportunity, Dr. Howard continues to inspire Kidznotes’ mission.
