Chamber U Control Benefits Costs
Over the past 10 years health insurance premium costs have more than doubled resulting in employers either absorbing the additional expense or diluting their plan quality in order to maintain costs.
This Chamber U is designed to educate small business leaders on a holistic approach to evaluating their health insurance plans and associated costs.
The goal of this session is for attendees to walk away with an understanding of how employers can make adjustments to their benefits package in a way that will allow employers and employees to both reduce costs without the risk of adding greater potential medical expense exposure.
This session will also include information and resources associated with the healthcare reform bill including healthcare tax credit eligibility and calculation information which only 4.3% of eligible small businesses applied for in 2011.
***Note: If you would like specific advice on your current health insurance plan / costs you can bring a copy of your plan design document (should include deductibles, copays, max out of pocket, etc.) and a copy of your most recent invoice from your health insurance carrier.
Presented by Darren Witmer
