Chamber U - How to Run a Small to Large Size Company with No IT Department
Just say NO to IT. The new wave of services allow you to run a company with no servers, no IT staff, no capital expenditures. We'll talk about how to move common functions to "Software as a Service" offerings such as Salesforce, SugarCRM, Quickbooks Online and Google Docs. We'll talk about hosting custom software via Google AppEngine, Heroku, Amazon EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk. We'll address the costs, benefits and drawbacks in no-nonsense business terms, compared to traditional IT expenditures.
