Inter-City Visit - September 2024
Having held an informative inaugural Inter-City Visit to Indianapolis in September 2023, the Durham Chamber will once again lead an effort to visit another community to learn from peers from Tuesday, September 24 to Friday, September 27!
What: The Inter-City Visit 2024
When: Tuesday, September 24, 2024 through Friday, September 27, 2024
Where: Minneapolis/St. Paul
Who: The delegation includes 50+ business, government, nonprofit, and education sectors leaders from Durham and the Triangle community at large
Why: To learn from the experiences of another similar-sized community, better understand our own community assets, and build relationships among each other to help us address our local challenges
Objectives: The Inter-City Visit will focus on the following learning objectives throughout the program:
- Strengthening Economic and Workforce Development Strategies
- Investing in Transportation and Infrastructure
- Addressing Housing and Diversity Initiatives
